MRC and the Edward & Ellen Roche Relief Fund, Bank of America, N.A., US Trustee are thrilled to announce a grant program for 2018. This grant award will support the most vulnerable: single immigrant mothers.
Legal work status is the first hurdle these women face in preparing for and finding employment and supporting their children. They also, generally, lack the funds or knowledge to navigate the immigration process on their own. Removing this barrier makes it possible for single immigrant mothers to succeed and achieve their goal of lawful residence, employment, and housing. Helping one mother clear that hurdle benefits doesn’t just benefit her. It also helps the lives of the children she is responsible for. It’s the first, critical step for her to make a stable life for her family.
Many thanks to the Edward & Ellen Roche Relief Fund, Bank of America, N.A., US Trustee for partnering in this important program!
